Continental Divide (AB) June 2019
Thousands of men around the world have gone before you in the life-enriching experience of an Xtreme Character Challenge (XCC). Friendships are forged, hearts cleansed and relationships renewed. Now it’s your turn. Join us for our second Canadian XCC starting Thursday June 6th, 2019 at the rugged yet beautiful terrain of The Great Continental Divide, Alberta. For seventy-two hours you will battle the elements, God and yourself in teams of tens. During the weekend, you will journey significant mileage and confront many physical and mental challenges. But the distance that really matters is the 250 millimetres between your head and your heart.
You will invest both time and money; one of the most valuable investments you can make in your life. The XCC is not simply an extended weekend; it is a journey of brotherhood to the foot of the Cross. If you decide to accept the challenge, you must make this decision wholeheartedly. You will not have a private hot shower at your disposal; in fact there will be no showers and no running water! No bunk beds or cosy lodges. You’ll leave your mobile phones and watches at the start line! This is unlike any other challenge. This could be the biggest milestone in your life!
It is importantl that you prepare physically for this XCC. If you cannot walk up the stairs without running out of breath or jog to your local supermarket for a morning paper, then start training now!
You operate in a team of eight to ten men (18 years and older). You can assemble this team, you can also specify individual, then we will assign you to a team. If you want to participate as a complete team, each person registers separately using the form below.
The participation fee is $325 Canadian dollars per person. This amount does not include your travel to and from your location.
- Everyone must travel individually or by team travel to Calgary, Alberta to Check-in at starting point. The organization of the 4th Musketeer plays no role in this.
- Allow 2.5 hours travel time from Calgary International Airport, AB (YYC) to Check-in at starting point.
- You will arrive at sign-in registration Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 7:30 pm - 8:00 pm (MDT)
- Location of event will be communicated between time of registration and check-in.
- Each participant must have a valid ID.
- On Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 12:00 pm noon (MDT) you will be finished.
